How can I fix Vauxhall corsa 1.7d 5dr?

It has recently ben serviced and the pollen filter was changed, since then whenever you first start the car their is a smell of rotten eggs comes through the vents but then it gradually disappears. Has anybody come acros this problem and if so is it the filter?
The car is not fitted with air con.

if its a diesel i dont know wat could could cause that smell as it normally the preserve of petrol engins with catalysts ,maybe your smelling the car in frount but then maybe somthing nasty is sitting neer the air intake ,it isent above some litle scrote to throw eggs at cars for fun
