AV3 Stays on screen?

I have a Sony KD-28DL11U TV & when we want to play on the Wii we have to change the Av Channel to AV3 , but this stays on the screen until e turn of the Wii & go back to normal TV.can anybody tell me how to take this off so we can see the whole screen.thanks in Advance.
