Washer won't drain?

My Maytag washer model A105 will not fully drain. Water comes out of the hose but very slowly.It also smells like a belt may be burning.

the drain pump will be operated on a timer, so it doesnt care how much or how little water is in the machine. if it isnt draining fully, its robably either a blockage in the pump or hose (or a crushed pipe etc) or possibly some washing crap (bits of material etc) caught up in the impellor, or just the drain pump on its way out
