may not be your thermostat, myt be the same problem i had on my corsa, i replaced the switch on the radiator and flushed the system, it sorted it cuz now it done overheat and my fan kicks in again

tricky,thermostat is behind camshaft pulley,follow top hose to engine end .you will see what i mean
