Roper washer pump replacement?

Friend has a Roper washer....1990 I'm guessing. Can't find a model # anywhere and I've turned it upside down, literally. Matching dryer is EL 4030 VW0. Can you help with washer model? It has direct drive pump. Any tricks to pulling and replacing it? Where can I find an exploded diagram? Thanks.
