I have VBS.generic.278?

je vien d avoir un vbs.generic.278 dans mon pc aussi et je comfirme qu avec drweb il sera supprime en faisant une analyse complete

I have VBS.generic.278 as well. It got through Nortons. It won't let me download free trial AVG or Trend. Any other suggestions?

I haveAVG antivirus on my computer and appeared all was working fine. Re-formatted my comp and decided to use a different anti virus and firewall.
Used 'Stop Sign : Threat Scanner', which found VBS. Generic 278 which AVG completely MISSED !!
£20 to remove virus from Stop Sign. free to download and use anti virus prog but costs you £20 to remove the virus which the free program picks up.
Am looking for a free version, as I haven't any money spare.
Will keep on looking and try housecall.trendmicro.

Hi peter, I had the exact same problem on my packard bell PC, to get rid of the virus go to google and type in the search bar : 'Stop-Sign Threat Scanner' then download the free version of the software.

Peter, if you need to scan your PC with another Anti-Virus program you can do so online (without downloading and installing another AV program) via http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Let this check your computer and see if this finds the virus.
