Sockets, spanners, coil spring compressors, common sense.
If you don't know how to do this then don't try.
Cheap coil spring compressors can slip, the coil spring will then remove most of your face, hand, thigh etc.
I assume its a front shock the rears are so easy that you shouldn't have to ask just take a look.
