flashing light?

have a boiler that im having problems with there is a continual flashing light on the hot water dial and there is no hot water or central heating coming through?? would it be best to ask homeserve or reactfast any ideas?? boiler is a worceseter 24cdi any one any ideas what it may be??thank you
