mix belt on creda tumble dryer t520vw?

Hi i have had a creda dryer t520vw belt break 1866mm. I ordered a replacement part which came but is 1860mm. i have squuezed it on the motor but the rear of the hub has lowered slightly and it will knock against the motor housing if turning. How can i solve the problem please?
