Tefal gv8110 Tefal steam generator?

Unfortunately I forgot to switch my steam generator off and left it for a couple of hours. The tank boiled dry and what happens now is that the iron heats up but the tank does not produce any steam. Does anyone know how or if I can get it repaired?
