Can I repair the pump on the russell hobbs steam generation iron?

I have a steam generation iron. I thinj the 2200. it has worked intermittently for awhile and checked the filter cartridge put a new one in and today the pump started and then went quiet. Is it dead or can it be repaired?

Don't bother, russell hobbs are cr*p, i have had two now and they have lasted less than a year. junk it and buy something else, like a phillips or a morphy richards
