Mend Sigma M Series Not Unlock Doors

My Sigma M Series does not unlock the doors?

My Sigma M Series Alarm system arms and locks the doors OK and disatms the system but does not unlock the doors, which I have to do manually. The system is fitted to a BMW 318i and is 9 years old.
