I have a water leak on the agitator shaft which is visible at the point where the shaft comes through from the plastic tub. This is visible by removing the front panel. Any ideas how to remove the seal and housing over the agitator shaft from inside the tub?
It can't be removed from inside the plastic tub. The bowl has to be removed from the machine after removing the inner bowl. Then from underneath remove everything until you can remove the gearbox support plate. The seal is on top of the plate but underneath the plastic bowl. Quite a major job.
