I have a citadel XRI house alarm?

yes your right the default engineer code is 9999 and the user code is 0123

I also have a citadel XRI control box, my problem is I dont remember the code to set it. I seem to remember that the engineers code might be 9999 (correct me if I am wrong) If anyone can help me I would be most grateful as I want to do a soak test before I attempt to fit it to my garden shed.

I don't have a lot of experience on the specific alarm type, but I am an I.D.S alarm tech. usual this sleeping that you are talking about when arming occurs when there are zones(pir's) violated. if you installed it yourself, check that all your wires are connected properly on the mother board, if that fails, start checking the pir's. iI'm sure this is a loose wire on one of the pir's. the keypad should flash the faulty zones
