how can i fix range rover p38 N reg?

range rover 4.6 hse, red light for alarm is flashing, put key in to ignition and ignition comes on, when i try to start the car it asks me to input the engin code or press the key button.

when the ignition is on all the electricts work exept the drivers door ( mirror, window, central locking and key code operation
