Mend Carl Lewis CL-8000 Switch Machine Flashes

Error message on carl lewis treadmill?

I have a Carl Lewis treadmill and when I switch it on the machine beep continually and everything flashes. An error code comes on E07. If I lift the safety magnet and put it back on the beeping stops for a second then starts again, hope someone can help!

Its because the magnet on the end of the red string is not in place on the yellow disc on the control panel. This is a safety cut out device designed to stop the machine if you fall off the treadmill. Hope this helps anyone else with the problem (as was the case of myself :) )

Its because its missing the safety cable - the red string that stops the treadmill if pulled off.
