Can't find my key to my treadmill?

I can't find the little red plastic safety key that belongs to my treadmill TX400. With out the safety key the treadmill will not start. I stuck a butter knife into it and found there is a small button the key pushes on but I can't walk and hold the butter knife at the same time. He he.
Is there any way I can get a replacement key??

I have the same dang problem. I was able to use another plastic piece and some cardboard to rig it to work, but it doesn't work all the time. They do sell these "safety keys" online..for about $10, so I will likely order one from whoever does not charge outrageous shipping prices. Just google "treadmill safety key" and you will get sites to go to. Good luck!
