I have this morning changed the bottom element on the immersion heater,all sealed up, wired up and ready to go. I have put the mains water back on to fill the tank, before i put the mains back on, but no water is running through any of my hot water taps (cold is O.K), What has happened, and how can i resolve?
Seems like an airlock,if you have a monoblock tap with mains water too it try blocking the spout and turn on both hot and cold taps, this can force the air out the system
If this fails push a water mains fed hose pipe into the inlet pipe in the cold water tank to the dhw cylinder in the header tank and force air out this way
