what could be the cause of the ABS brake light showing on a 1998 renault megane? i found a sensor cable snapped through on the near side front wheel. i remade the cable but the light has not gone off. any ideas?
assuming you repaired the cable properly and shielded the wires there are many things .faulty sensor .poor wiring .reluctor ring broken /damaged .abs ecu fault .abs pump failed.power supply to pump or ecu interupted. you need to plug it in to a diagnostic machine to determine the fault
