I have a Kenmore HE3 Elite washer that will not go into the final spin/rinse cycle. I was told it was a faulty computer at the rear of the machine. I replaced the computer and the problem is still there! When it reaches the last 11 minutes of the cycle, the clothes drum just rotates back and forth and will not kick into spin mode. I must stop the machine and press rinse/spin, and then it will go into high speed spin. It worked fine until we moved and I am certain that it has something to do with the rough handling by the moving company! The model number is 110-42832-200 and the serial number is CSM 1904235. The machine was purchased new in the latter part of 2002.
I had same problem did 2 things 1st clip on right side was broken replacement cost about 5.oo also I cleaned rinse hose
so far so good. if not guess i'll have to call a repair man. also to reset computer machine must be unplugged for about an hour.
