I am changing the pull switch but have black an red wiring where does the r?

Iwant to change the pull switch in the bathroom it is red and black wiring only where does the red wire go

Provided you only have one red and one black, the red (live feed) goes to the (COM) common terminal and the black (switch supply for light) goes in the opposing terminal. So you will be switching the power from the red to the black
