how can i make my remote central locking work on my focus 1.8 zetec 1999?

Hi Scott, this method should work

Fasten all seat belts and close all doors and tailgate
Turn Ign key from pos l to ll four times in 6 seconds
Turn Ign key to pos l
Programming mode for 10 seconds
Press & hold any of the buttons on the fob
Wait for and audio beep ( confirms correct program )
To exit programming turn Ign to pos lll or wait 10 sec's
Programming can be done by diagnostic kit
