How can i fix my Renault Clio 1.4 RT '98?

For quite a while, my passenger door will only open from outside, so i tried today to sort the child lock, opened the door, but theres no screw or lever.
So foolishly somehow i've managed to now force the door to be open all the time, and can't get the catch to shut the door at all now.
Ideas?
