Reset the code on the gardtec 300 series alarm ?

We have moved into a house which has a gardtec 300 series alarm - we have a code but don't know how to use the alarm - can anyone tell mehow to reset the code and actually turn the alarm on? Thanks

Its says 350 but I have a 300 and the instructions seem to work the same. You will need to know the code that was used before but it gives you the factory default if the previous owners never changed it.
