How Do You Rewire a Trailer?

My dogs chewed all the wiring from under the trailer while it was sitting in the back yard. We have now decided to re wire the trailer and bought a harness kit that matches up to the one on our truck we also purchased all new lights-Problem is very confusing as to how to put wires back on, for turn signals, front and side lights of front of the trailer and back taillights and turn and sidelights how do you run the wires white, red, green, yellow, brown wire! Where does the ground wire go? Very confusing! Can you help. It is a trailer that you put on a hitch to haul stuff on. We are refurbishing wiring, lights, boards.
