Renault Megane Scenic R Reg not starting or turning over at all?

Hi,
When ever we try to start the car it is dead but if we leave it for 30 minutes or so then try it then it starts up fine. The car doesn't even try to start and the battery is fine (not even 12 months old). I don't think it is an immobiliser problem as it is not trying to start it is completely silent apart from the engine management system switching on and making its odd noise.
Any help would be appreciate.

i had this problem,check the crank shaft scensor as this would cause the car not to start,take it off by its two 10m bolts then clean it best you can then try it,if this fails get a new one or second hand one from scrap yard.this worked for me.
