Mend Vauxhall Corsa Fan

what is wrong with my wifes vauxhall corsa?

i have had a new radiator fan switch and electrics repaired on my wifes 1995 vauxhall corsa 1.4i auto but te bottom of the radiator is not getting as hot as the top and the cooling fan is not kicking in the hoses are getting rock hard and highly pressurised what is the problem

Check the thermostat. If it's ok, remove the radiator and flush it through using a garden hose. Flush in both directions. If the water doesn't flow freely get a new rad.
It's worth flushing the engine block too as you have the pipes off anyway.
