I recently brought a 2002 Ford Focus 1.8 TD but after a few days it won't turn over. I have tried to jump start it with booster cablers and by push starting but neither have worked. I have changed the battery. All the lights, wind screen wipers etc come on with the old and new battery. The immobiliser only flashes slowly. I don't think the battery nor the immboliser are the problem. There is absolutely no noise at all when I turn the key. What can the problem be and how do I go about getting it started. I have no mechanical skills!! Any help appreciated.
prob the starter motor has packed in, best trying to get a mobile mechanic to come to you, it costs more but they will give a definate answer to your problem, good luck.
