Mend Fisher & Paykel E522B Door Closed Closing

Door does not swing closed nicely?

Brand new F&P E522Bfridge and you have to have two goes at closing the door every time cos it needs a much harder swing for the "self closing hinges" to work. How riduculous as our last F&P fridge that lasted 20 years closed very well without these 'special " hinges. Does anyone have a solution? i have already tilted the fridge backwards quite a bit to no avail.
