Mend Hotpoint WF250 Washing Machine Leaking Repair

How can I fix my Hotpoint Aquarius WF250 Leaking and stalling?

We have a Hotpoint Aquarius WF250 which has started leaking from the detergent drawer when it goes on to the spin cycle - can anyone help?

Also, the machine has recently started stalling whilst on the fast wash (on the change to final spin). Any ideas?

This has happened to mine only this week ,your filter being blocked will be the reason for the water coming from the detergent drawer ,you need to take the top of the machine off and lay on floor behind machine ,there attatched to the drum is a black pipe there you will see the filter ,empty it ,your problem will be solved ,But cannot answer other problem sorry
