an item of clothing was under the seal when the washing machine was switched on. the seal therefore can not work properly and water began to leak out. i stopped the machine and now the door will not open. What can i do? there is still a small amount of water in the machine
if you cannot access the drain hose just select the drain cycle the machine should pump out the water and at the end of the cycle you should be able to open thedoor.

The door will not open because there is water in the machine. Place the drain hose (usually grey) into a receptacle on the floor and gravity will do the rest. When the machine is empty, just wait a minute or so and the door will open.
