How do I fix my GE washer #WJXR2080TAWW?

It'a an 8 cycle 2 speed extra large capacity washing machine.
It first started not to wring out the clothes completely. Now it makes all the noises but the tub doesnt' move. I tried the GE website but, they didn't have this model number there.
Before it stopped completely, it made this awful loud noise. Please help!! I can't really afford a new one.

I can't spin the tub but I can spin the sticking up thing in one direction. It makes all the noises like ite starting. It just won't move.

Hello,

When you start the washer do you hear anything? The belt could have been worn causing the washer not to get a full spin before. can you turn the agitator back and forth?
