WASHER DRUM SEEMS LOOSE?

HAVE A FRONT LOAD FRIGIDAIRE WASHING MACHIN THAT HAS DEVELOPED A LOT OF PLAY AND MAKES A LOUD THUMPING SOUND DURING THE SPIN CYCLE. WHEN THE WASH IS OFF AND I GRAB THE DRUM, I CAN SWING IT PRETTY FREELY AND IT FEELS VERY LOOSE. i THINK THERE IS SOMETHING LOOSE THAT IS ALLOWING THIS MOTION. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? IS THERE A PART THAT CAN BUY AND REPAIR IT MYSELF? I AM SOMWWHAT HANDY.
