We have a dyson dc 04 yellow grey upright cleaner The flex as it goes into the body underneath the switch has a break in the cable as it makes and breaks when waggled . I want to remove the switch and shorten the wire. but the switch is well clipped in and needs fine blades to slide in to cover the clips. but I don't want to break anything
Hi sorted it, prize the button out with a fine screwdriver down the side nearest the handle. there's one catch on that side. Then you have a torx screw, which I removed with an allen key and voila the switch is free.
