ZANUSSI ZDF231 - NOT RELEASING THE DETERGENT TABLET!?

HI GUYS, NEED HELP!
MY DISHWASHER DEVELOPED A FAULT ABOUT A WEEK AGO AND IT DOES NOT OPEN THE FLAP OF THE DETERGENT COMPARTMENT - THE FLAP DOESNT OPEN, THE TABLET IS NOT RELEASED, DISHES NOT WASHED AND WHEN I OPEN THE DISHWASHER AFTER "FINISHED" CYCLE THE TABLET FLOPS TO THE BOTTOM! ANY IDEAS WHAT TH PROBLEM IS AND HOW TO SORT IT OUT? E

easiest thing to do with this fault is to put the was tablet directly on to the big filter and select a wash program.job done.just check the top spray arm holes are clear as this will stop the tablet being washed out of the detergent compartment.also make sure that the top arm can rotate once you have filled it with dirty pots
