beko fridge freezer problem?

my fiance left the freezer door open overnight a few nights ago, which left everything inside defrosting. the freezer was then cleared of all foods and left with the door shut for 24 hrs.. but since i have replaced the foods in the freezer it doesnt appear to be freezing everything in it!! anyone shed any light on it? there is no dial in the freezer to set temp, but a dial on inside of fridge part with numbers 1-5.. it usually set at 1.5 should i change it? lost the manual, fridge/freezer 2 years old and is meant to be frost free. thanks

Hi My freezer stopped working. the last 2 times that I called the technician they said the was a problem with the cycle and that it is very common on BEKO fridges. Someone has any idea?

i have a BEKO double door American style fridge freezer, the indicator panel is flashing with -18 then E, the fridge side is also flashing 2 and 4. The RED light is also flashing all the time. This has been going on for 2 weeks now. What is the problem

hello,my beko gnev220s has decided to make my life hell
last night the top of the freezer stopped working resulting in I lollies melting on the other shelves.
after emptying the freezer, placing a cup of water on the bottom shelf froze solid overnight, this then defrosted when placed on the top shelf for 2hrs. help please

My Beko fridge freezer is just over 2 years old , it is not freezing everything completely only 80%, the moter usually revs up for 2 mins every half hour or so , it's not doing this .... the refrigerator side seems to be ok ... can you tell me what is wrong with this and how it can be fixed .. thanks

I had exactly the same problem when I left the freezer door open. I decided to follow the tip to defrost it and leave it open to see if this would help.
I emptied it out and switched it off for 12 hours (no patience to wait 24!) When I switched it back on it started to freeze again and has been OK ever since.
It was definitely worth a try and all it cost me was the food I would have lost anyway.

One of the defrost components might have failed this we found out when we called out a service company in london area www.agsrefrigeration.co.uk they replaced faulty part.

If your look at the answers elsewhere for Beko, someone was suggesting turning it off and leave the door open for 24 hours as the defrost pipe may be blocked? Worth a try.
