Mine leaked through the joints and I just used white external sealant Mastic. cleaned off all dirt around the joints and applied mastic in two layers using an application gun. Don't cut nozzle on the mastic tube leave it so thin bead comes out smoth then apply another. If you cut the nozzle to make more come out iin one pass then it make a mess and doesn't look neat.
