Consult yellow pages for a visiting car radio guy to remove your cd/radio and retrieve the disk. I paid £30 for this when M-B quoted me 1.5 hrs work (£200+). I was then faced with a bill of £275 for the repair to the laser assembly (the actual fault!). Having watched the guy remove the radio/cd, I was able to re-install it myself.
