\how can I fix my hotpoint Aquarius FDW70 dishwasher?

When I switched it on it went for about 40 mins then an alarm sounded and AO1 flashed on LED display (it says its the water loading solenoid valve malfunction alarm). I have checked the manual and it says call for assistance. Is there anything I can do
