thompson box haz frozen nd wont reset?

Thanks for that been doing my brain in for a week
This works

hi to reset your box switch it off wait for about 30 seconds and turn it back on again while holding down the on/off switch on the front of the unit, When you see the light flash remove your finger and press up down then left and right but do it in the order that i have said this will format your box and bring it back to the state as when you bought it and all should be ok

Power off 20 secs,
Hold st by button on unit, put mains back in.
when any light flases release std by button.
press up, down, left, right. in quick succession.
wait about a minute.
switch on normally, with remote.
