Ford Focus 2.0 TDCI?

My Ford Focus 2.0 tdci 2005 makes a wind rush noise that comes through or sounds like it comes through the centre heater vents, i have taken it to three ford garages who are less than helpfull as on diagnostics it says nothing wrong, what could it be???
