diesiel consumption?

I assume it's a private deal.
As it's a car then highlight your question copy it and paste it in the same catagory but under CARS section your in motorhome/caravans more mechanics will be looking at questions in there. Just keep eye on both sections.
I am not a mechanci but been caught once never again so this is how I would play it

1. Check with a garage if this indicates it needs new injectors or injector pump, and cost. My theory is it may need either or even both.

2. Look for service history in documents and how many previous owners. Average mileage is said to be 10,000 per year but may vary with diesel.

3.Check prices on line for similar condition and mileage vehicles.

4.Check overall conditon, dents and scratches as a garage would do if you part exchange.

5. If satisfied knock price down if you think it's too much and add to the reduction cost of injectors/pump.
Walk away if they don't accept reasonable price.
