Beko D2731FW Dishwasher: Changing the Heating Element?

Hello,

My timer has stopped turning at certain points of the dish washing cycle. So after investigation, I noticed that the water inside the machine was no longer getting hot. I think the timer get stuck as it waits for the water to reach a certain temperature. Therefore I think the heating element needs replacing (unless someone else has any other ideas??? Thermistor perhaps?)

So my question is: How can I get inside and replace the element? Is it an easy job to do?

Many Thanks!

Thanks very much for your prompt reply. I managed to get into it and take out the heating element. I measured the resistance and it's 28.5 ohms... So I guess that isn't the problem. I opened it up by getting in through the right hand side in the end.

Can you remember whereabouts the thermostats are in the base? And how would you go about testing them to see if they're OK?

Many thanks!

4 screws to remove from the base panel and then you can remove it and gain access to the heater.check the heater resistance around 29 ohms.also check the stats in the base as these will stop the heat cycle
