why does my 1999 ford focus 1.6 zetec jerk ?

hi there
i have a 1999 ford focus 1.6 zetec. while driving it the car will jerk especially after when switching from gear to gear but it will also jerk at other times when just in driving mode. i have had a different ignition coil put in and it is not as bad as it was but it is still happening.
please can you help

mine used to do it for years it but it stopped eventually. i didnt have to change anything. all i did was use some injector cleaner, the type you put in the fuel with every fill up and it cleared up

Have you damaged your radiator ? or have had low coolant level. I have had this problem especially at low speeds, my problem was that very little or no engine coolant was in the system, i have a 1.8i 16v Zetec Millenium.
