Indesit IDL500 dishwasher not emptying?

The above dishwasher seems to run fine until it comes to pumping the water out then it just sits there not doing anything.

There is no noise from the pump and I have taken all the conections off underneath and in the drain pipe and there are no blockages.

If I then empty it manually with a cup and bucket, it will again do a wash cycle but not empty.

I'd be grateful for any ideas.
