getting door open on ford focus 1999 ghia?

The central locking has gone on my focus, I have replaced the fuse on back of fuse box but N/S rear passenger door still does not unlock. The internal locking switch does not have any effect on the door opening. i have got the door trim off but there is nothing obvious to allow me to release the door. Any suggestions
