Hoover VHD 814?

My washing machine will not complete the wash cycle. When it gets to the final rinse ie the last 30 mins the spin does not seem to work the drum turns but where it should spin up a couple of times it just turns and the normal speed and then as soon as the 15 min light comes on

[this is when the fabric softner should pump in and the final rinse should take place]

the machine stops the 1200 rmp spin light along with the time reduce cycle light flashes at the same time.

I have notice that if I use the 60 min A wash sometimes it will work correctly.

If this problem accures I turn it off leave it for a while open the door and then put in on the seperate rinse cycle this normally works 8 out of 10 times.
