Mend Renault Radio Code Lost Battery

Renault Scenic Radio Code?

I have a RENAULT SCENIC. Changed the battery and lost the radio. I have the code. I have the 4 x 0 with the 1st one flashing but it will not take the code?

On the front of the radio itself there should be 6 preset buttons numbered 1 to 6.
With the first 0 flashing keep pressing the preset 1 button until you get the first digit to where you want it.
Then press the number 2 preset button until you get the second digit to where you want it.
Then press the number 3 button until you get the third digit to where you want it.
Then press the number 4 button until you get the fourth digit to where you want it.
Then press the number 6 preset button which ends the programming.
Your radio should now work.
This is the procedure I used on my 55 plate Scenic.
