Stuck in Demo Mode?

Just for reference, I have fixed myself.
To clear demo

First the display must be lite ( appliance on )
Press and hold together the on/off button and start reset button until you get a message saying d-off.
that it, really easy when you know how.

The following was taken from a hotpoint manual
To eliminate the test cycle: -
• Switch On the machine and with the door closed.
• Wait for the test cycle to start up (2 LEDs will start to flash).
• Switch Off the machine with the door still closed and wait for 15 seconds.
• Switch On the machine.
• Reset the test cycle by turning the selector knob to reset and leave for 5 seconds.
Note: - All actions are to be carried out quickly and the 15 seconds must be exact.
