Fujitsu siemens lifebook?

It was working fine then went to turn it on one day and it is dead as a dodo.I have checked the adaptor and it is fine .then checked adaptor connection to make sure it hadnt broke a connection inside and this is also ok.Please i need to know one way or the other to throw it or can i fix it maybe

Hi. The first thing i would do is; lend and try another power supply, we have two universal power adapters and tonight I have used one to trouble shoot the very same problem you have wrote about. With laptops not switching on using a good power adapter, I always think Motherboard. A little hard to trouble-shoot without being there. Try another adapter first.
